Will try to keep this as "simple" as possible, but just about everything now-a-days "develops" more "complex issues" and as a result, policies change! That is true of what you read here also!
First, the administrator of this server reserves the right to change the accounts acquisition policy at any time and without "warning".
With the exception of Aloesoft (who host this server), please no vendors ("lurking" or "otherwise"). Exceptions might be made if (and only IF) a vendor commits to providing some FREE services to LEA's!
For K12 Staff of LEA's: when registering for accounts, please use your schools (LEA) EMail address - not your personal one.
For Faculty and Students in Higher Ed. (University or Junior College), the same applies.
For Students of public or private schools, you might be asked to provide a "reference" (Faculty or Administrator) from the school you attend. This "exception" to LEA EMail address in light of the fact that many LEA's do not allow nor provide student accounts. BTW, you are encouraged to acquire an account AND "share" your perspective of OS/FOSS for the "future technology" and it's use/direction is really YOURS! So, help out the "old foggies" who "just don't get it"! :)
Un-appropriate content or language in any of the resources available on this server will not be tolerated and such action will result in the immediate removal of the account access.
Other policies, etc. to be added as needed (if there is a need).
In today's "legally minded world", this server administrator is "sticking his neck out" [literally!], so please bear that in mind! But then again, turtle's begin their "wanderings" in the same fashion ... "sticking their neck out" ... don't they? :)
